Baubo was founded in Paris by two friends who sought to form the first sustainable, feminist, Made In France brand for uncompromising personal care products. They are designed for the whole body, especially the parts that don't get as much love from mainstream brands.
Our name is inspired by the Ancient Greek Goddess Baubo, whose joyful nature and sexual freedom helped bring happiness and hope to the Goddess of Earth and Fertility. Baubo inspired us to reconnect with our body and our sexual blossoming, all while having fun doing it! Our collections include organic balms for the vulva, multi-purpose skincare for babies to the elderly, tonic cream for boobs and booty, and a unisex anal care for daily use. Our formulas are gynecologically and dermatologically tested and follow women at every stage of their life, from early age to pregnancy, post-partum and after.
We favor French suppliers and craftsmen in order to promote know-how and limit our carbon footprint. Our 50ml balms are contained in the world's first cosmetic jar made of 90% recycled glass and its production represents 36% less CO2 emissions than a traditional glass jar. Our caps are made of post-industrial recycled plastic, and the protective lids are made of vegetable "green" plastic. The jar, lid and cover of all our balms are 100% recyclable.
Baubo is committed to Gynecology Without Borders! For 25 years, Gynecology Without Borders has been working for women's health, with the objective of respecting human dignity and promoting women's health around the world. For each Baubo balm purchased, 2% of the proceeds are donated to Gynecology Without Borders.

Why is Baûbo “feminist & sustainable”?
"Baûbo is a feminist company because we're well aware that women's rights and equality with men has been an issue for centuries. We want to make sure all people, including those who identify as feminine or female in some way feel comfortable addressing their nethers-the most private part of oneself! By making products like our vulva balm which tackles taboos head on
Finally, we are sustainable because our entire production chain has been designed accordingly: we use the world's first cosmetic jars that are 100% recycled and recyclable, our products are made in France and we are committed to quality and maximum reduction of our products’ carbon footprint"
